The Veteran Star Saeed Jaffrey has Passed Away after a long journey of Bollywood |
The Bollywood star who is remembered for his unforgettable characters in A Passage to India as well as Gandhi has just passed away. The veteran star Saeed Jaffrey was 86 years old. He was suffering with brain Hemorrhage in London. He has started his career as a theatre actor and continued to work with the supporting roles in the Bollywood movies. Today, he is being acclaimed by the people and the critics all around the world.

He had played some positive and negative roles in the films. The news of his death was aired on Facebook by his niece Shaheen Aggarwal. “Today, a generation of Jaffreys has passed away. Saeed Jaffrey has joined his brother and sister and is rejoicing in the lap of his Heavenly Father, eternally,” she posted.
He, once, was at his home and unfortunately got a brain hemorrhage attack and then failed to recover his senses. He was basically from India and born in Punjab. He started working at the theaters and continued to play his major roles in the Indian movies. His best performing characters in the series are such as Rvavi Desai in The Jewel In The Crown and Nawab of Mirat in the famous series Soap opera Coronation Street.
Saeed Jaffrey has played his tremendous roles in the blockbuster movies and their Songs. He was bestowed, for his participation in the drama, with the award of the British Empire (OBE). All the Bollywood stars showed grief over his death. There are some statements given by the political as well as the Bollywood stars such as;
The Director Mahesh Bhatt while the tribute to him, has said, “He was unique because he had a very good understanding of foreign cultures, which he mixed with his Indian ethos and that showed in his performances. I will never forget him for his outstanding performance in Ram Teri Ganga Maili. He was a fascinating man with a large body of work.”

The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, "Sad demise of versatile actor Saeed Jaffrey is a big loss to film industry. For decades, he enthralled us with his class apart acting. #RIP"
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Saeed Jaffrey was a multifaceted actor whose flair and versatility will always be remembered. Deepest condolences on his passing away."
Rajyavardhan Rathore has stated that "Condolences on passing away of screen legend #SaeedJaffrey. His range and acting depth will be remembered for long."
Adil Ray, BBC sitcom Citizen Khan, expressed his feelings on Twitter as "So sad to hear about the passing of actor Saeed Jaffrey. A tour de force and paved the way for so many."
Actress Kathy Burke tweeted, "Had the pleasure of working with Saeed in the last century. RIP lovely man."
Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, who has worked with Saeed Jaffrey in various Hindi movies, said: "sad news of the passing away of senior actor Saeed Jaffrey...did films where he played my dad, warm, witty, jovial, Sir u will be missed RIP". She added: "A brilliant actor.. A unique style.. Mischievous twinkling eyes."
