The Bollywood industry is producing hundreds of movies every year, and every movie has a strong and attractive plot. The main quality of each film is that all of these have the equal feature as dance and songs. In spite of Hindi films, the other regional movies have also these features containing dance and songs as being an essential part of it. In the films, the scenes of dance and songs are pretty attractive and highly composed to amuse the audiences. From the very beginning of film industry, the songs and dance, to some extent, have been the main features of each movie. It was impossible to produce a film, for the Bollywood industry, without including any kind of song and dance. In the movies, where the theme plot has no strong power or attraction to catch the people’s attention then there will be the songs that lead the movie towards its achievement.

It is all we know that the Indian songs have the historical and traditional background. The songs depict the essence of their existence in the movies or outside the movies. The oldsongs, most of them also renowned as the classical songs, were produced in an original way without using the excessive instruments of music. Some of these songs are considered as the folk songs as well. The songs were changed with the passage of time and they were moulded into western music almost in the eras of 1950s and 1960s.


The Bollywood industry has tested all the musical genres to develop their films and make their industry renowned all over the world. The taste of listening the music has been changed from generation to generation and the essence of changing the quality of the songs according to the moods of the people and their taste as well, is intact. By producing such songs, the musicians and the legend singers have gained the global fame including, Lata Mangeshkar, A.R. Rehman, K. L. Sehgal, Asha Bhonsle, amongst many of others. Talking about the latest songs, the modern singers such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,Atif Aslam, Akshaya Mohanty, Ali Zafar, Amit Kumar, Honey Singh, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and many other modern playback singers have created the songs with strong lyrics as the verses of the poetry are enough to comfort or soothe the ears of the audiences. Indian songs have the worldwide fame because it inspires the many talents and intellectuals from India rather also from all over the world.
