Urdu is technically used with different dialects and classified by various classes of the society. It has some roots of Hindi language and it is therefore, the linguists are of the opinion that Urdu-Hindi is the one language. Although their dialects are different from each other, but the words, syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, and phonetics have almost the same structure. After the independence and the partition of the sub-continent, the relationship between both countries, named as India and Pakistan were not smooth or stable. The song of the old movie 1942-A Love Story, ‘voh yaar hai jo khushbu ki tarha jis ki zubaan Urdu ki tarha’ basically was the tribute to Javed Akhtar. The verse of the song has come from the poetry of Faiz Ahmad Faiz; his contribution for this song is utterly speechless. The song has the juxtaposition in this verse which reveals the emblematic relationship between Urdu poetry and Indian films. By using the Urdu poetry in Hindi songs, the relationship has developed between them and the language seems in a performative form. The Indian movies have contained such music that is associated and adored with the modern dilemma and the cultural milieu.
